We are sad to lose our dear Sister, Linda Cody at 57 years old.
Linda worked at the 675 Building as a Messenger (Devoted Company Mail Clerk). Linda was a strong determined employee and would come to work ill and drive the mail van or office work until she was took weak to drive. She would take her chemo and return to work. She did this until she could barely walk and she never ever complained.
She was a member for 38 years and believed in supporting her union. |

It's with great sadness to report the passing of one of our own Job Stewards. Terri Crockett passed Monday, January 7th.
Terri worked for BEI and was catalyst for that group getting organized.
Terri was 43 years old.

It's with great sadness to report the passing of one of our own members. Eugene Bell was a Tech in the BRC and passed after a long illness. We keep his family in our prayers.

Dorothea Hollis, Age 40, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2008. She began her career with Cingular Wireless on September 27, 2004 as a Payroll Clerk here at the Avalon Ridge Call Center. As we all know, Dorothea had been fighting a serious condition for a very long time. She was admitted to the hospital the day after Thanksgiving with complications as a result of kidney failure. She is survived by two daughters, Shonice age 10 and Terrica age 18.
Dorothea was loved by many of you here. Her kindness and her smiling face will be greatly missed.

Officer Eric Barker was killed while working an off duty, uniformed security detail at an apartment complex in Decatur.
Officer Barker was a U.S. Army veteran and had served with the DeKalb County Police Department for 4 years. He is survived by his wife and four children. He was the brother of CWA Local 3204 member Barry Barker at AT&T Wireless.
