NOTICE:   SSP AWARD PAY
     There are two elements of the SSP, the first is the dividend portion, about $250, which was bargained to fund healthcare reimbursement accounts for retirees in 2010 & 2011.  The second is the stock appreciation portion, since the stock price did not increase in value this year, THERE IS NO PAYOUT.
     Next year both elements of the SSP will go to active employees therefore the minimum payout next year will be about $250 plus what ever the increase in the stock price is x150.

NEW ATTENDANCE POLICY? NO and YES.     

       Contrary to what some of your managers/departments are telling you, there is NO NEW POLICY that states that 3 consecustive days is 3 occurrences. There is a new AT&T SE Attendance and Punctuality policy that STILL has OCCURRENCES as it has ALWAYS:

Be advised if you are thinking of retiring and possibly returning to payroll later--the restructuring of our benefits plan means that if you come back you will not have retiree benefits but the benefits of a NEW HIRE paying 50% of your coverage. Plan accordingly.
